ROBERT Pattinson admits he didn’t want to kiss Kristen Stewart at the MTV Movie Awards this past Sunday.

Speaking to MTV News, the hunky British actor says he had better ideas that didn’t involve getting intimate with his Twilight costar.

Pattinson, 24, also admitted the onstage smooch “didn’t work”.

“I had the best ideas last night and I was like, ‘Listen everybody, leave it to me, I’ve got it all under control’,” he said.

“I gave all these ideas and nobody thought they were funny and we ended up doing something which didn’t work!”

Rob and Kristen scooped the Best Kiss gong for New Moon.

Rob himself scooped the trophies for Best Male Performance and Global Superstar.

“To be honest, I should’ve been nominated in a few more categories,” said the British actor.

“It’s a disappointment. It’s an OK result, I think it’s only three. We did better last year.”

As previously reported on Showbiz Spy, Rob has been trying to distance himself from Kristen because he’s worried their cozy relationship will affect his career — because she keeps making silly comments to the media.

“Rob is worried that being associated with Kristen will harm his career,” a source said. “He’s worked far too hard to get where he is to let it all come crashing down because of someone else’s actions.

“He’s distancing himself from Kristen more and more. He says, ‘If she wants to ruin things for herself, then let her! But she won’t be dragging me down with her!’

So You Think You Can Dance? is a reality show on FOX that capitalizes on the popularity of reality show dancing. It first premiered in July of 2005 and showcased a format similar to that of the innovative American Idols. America was glued to discover who the next breakout dance star would be and ratings were solid. Despite the abundance of reality shows and even dancing themed shows, So You Think You Can Dance? was the #1 rated show in the year 2006 for younger prime demographic viewers.

The show is produced by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe as well as 19 Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions. What’s interesting about this show is that the contestants can be anybody, from unknown street dancers to even national championship dancers. All contestants will have to answer to the same challenges and finish a demanding audition process. They will have to perform different dance styles and with different partners every week in order to test their dancing talent and versatility.

There are auditions held in every major city across the country and the talent scouts check for all sorts of dancing backgrounds, including ballroom, salsa, street dance, jazz, ballet, hip hop and contemporary. The grand prizes are generous to say the least and in the past have included cash prizes of $250,000 or even a new SUV vehicle.

Whoever wins is declared America’s Favorte Dancer. This season is the sixth season of this Emmy winning show.

Colombian superstar Shakira has joined the number of artists that have released songs inspired by the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup, to be celebrated in South Africa in just two months. Shakira surprised her fans with the release of 'Samia,' an official song for the soccer celebration. Other artists that have released songs about the event include Pharrell Williams, Maldita Vecindad, Kailash Kher, After School, and Daddy Yankee among others.

As previously announced, Shakira is part of the kickoff ceremony concert lineup where she will share the stage with fellow Colombian singer Juanes, as well as international stars like The Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and John Legend. 'Samia' is a reconstruction of the hit 'Zangalewa' by Golden Sounds.

The song carries on with Shakira's signature upbeat, mixing African rhythms along with the tropical bravura of Colombian music. As it is mostly custom with Shakira's singles, many are expecting an English version of the song to hit the web really soon.

Another version of Enrique Iglesias' "I Like It" music video was debuted just before the 19th Annual MTV Movie Awardsbegan. Like the previously-premiered clip, it's also a crowded one, seeing the 35-year-old singer/songwriter rocking a club with his collaborator Pitbull.

"Jersey Shore" cast are actually denied the access to get to the party but they work on "a bunch of nut jobs, just trying to crash Enrique's concert." Enrique previously said, "This song is good - actually, not good. Let's go out there and have some fun. It's the kids from the 'Jersey Shore.' What else would you ask for?"

A dance track, "I Like It" samples Lionel Richie's classic song "All Night Long (All Night)" and has Enrique heavily using Auto Tune on his verses. The single is recorded for his forthcoming studio album "Euphoria" and serves as one of the soundtrack for "Jersey Shore" which will premiere its second season on July 29,
